You know that you can pack the court without increasing the number of justices, as the Republican Senate demonstrated.

Would that be “packing” like refusing to hold confirmation hearings on a legitimate Supreme Court nominee from the Democrats 8 months before an election OR would that be “packing” like approving a Republican Supreme Court nominee 2 weeks before an election.

Biggest proof that the GOP is Party Over Country . . . ALWAYS.

Each party picks people who lean their way, but there used to be a tendency to pick competent and broadly reasonable human beings to be justices.

In the beginning there were 6 justices, when our population was a fraction of what it is now. Raise the number to reflect the increase in population. Please make some of them atheist.

The Trump (so-called) administration tried to make the Judicial and the Legislative branches subservient to the Executive, but, then again, they worried about the Law OR what the Constitution said…
