they’re always where you last expect them to be: not in your hand, not in your pocket, or — like me — hung on a hook near the front door

It’s always in the last place you look!

Usually because that’s when you stop looking. :)

If they couldn’t possibly be under the plates, why look there? When you’re looking ‘everywhere’ you only look places they could possibly be. I’ve yet to take off the top of the water tank on the back of a toilet and see if I left my keys inside. Yeah, plates get set down on top of stuff, so you looked there, but if you thought it wasn’t possible you wouldn’t have.

Consider all your operations.

There is a problem with the colorist, Baldo’s apple in panel #1 & #4 is Black. Either that or he found it at the very back of the frig.

My wife and I are at the age where if we can’t find something it’s because we put it away where it belongs.

It’s a problem we all have one time or another…..

Every morning when I put on my pants, my set of keys are the FIRST thing that goes into my pants pocket!

I’ve never lost my keys. I keep them in the same place in the house all the time. Don’t understand why everyone doesn’t do that.

Now that I’m no longer a productive member of society, I just wear shorts around the house. I leave my keys in my jeans pocket in case I need to leave the house.

Why is he so angry? He found the keys.

Four magnetic hooks on refrigerator – one for me and one for husband for everyday keys and one each for the RV keys. In a small supply drawer in our office closet are all the duplicate keys. When traveling in the RV, keys are put in the cup holders at night. Keys are never lost.
