Delta’s headquarters is in Georgia. It’s discussing a home state issue. A responsibility of corporate citizenship.

In red states, the only voter i.d. you need is the color of your skin.

Where do you vote, BOK, that you’re not required to ID yourself? I have NEVER voted without being asked to ID myself. Forty years of voting, I have always been asked to show proof of ID, even when I knew the polling personnel personally.

    We already have voter ID.

What you want, BOK, is for a FEDERALLY mandated voter ID. You want the states to abdicate their authority of handling elections to the FEDERAL government.

Voting is a STATE right and must be protected. I thought that small government is what you neocons dreamed about.

Where I vote, with an extremely low amount of fraud (well under the average of less than 0.25%), our voter ID is simply a signature that has to match. Every voter gets a ballot in the mail. Every voter MAY choose to return the ballot by mail, or may drop it in one of dozens (or more) drop boxes that can be easily reached by most voters (not the ones who live isolated, obviously)… or they can choose not to vote. We have absolutely no long lines for voting, and therefore no need to deal with thirst or weather while waiting in line. We have almost zero fraud, though the last few elections, we have dealt with people who were TRYING to misdirect ballots from people who wanted to put them into a drop box. So far as I know, they were all perpetrated by right-wingers, and they all failed.

The unspoken republican fascist lie finally gets spoken. The Republicans come out against citizens voting.

In the words of The National Review only Qualified Voters should exercise the franchise

The totalitarians admire China. They’re want to use the China model of social media and weaponized government to identify, surveille, and punish their enemies.

The Chinese Communist Party is an elitist organization with an exclusive membership. It comprises only about 8% of the total populace of China and maintains a rigid control over its society, business and culture. No other political party is allowed. That said, if you are accepted into the CCP your future and prosperity is assured as long as you do nothing to fall out of favor. This is a system much desired by the Democrats and it is reflected in their totalitarian attitude and speech. They brazenly and unashamedly lie and spread propaganda and disinformation while falsely accusing their opponents of doing the same thing. A prime example of this are the hate filled left wing posts across the Go Comics political cartoons comments.
