That’s the problem with embarrassing things. While you are doing it you have no idea it is embarrassing until later on when somebody points it out to you by laughing their but off.
Hmm. SO INTERESTING, given that some think the last panel should be Lucy and not Nancy.
In my opinion…. the drawing style of the girl in the last panel LOOKS a bit more like Lucy.
But, at the same time…. to ME, it seems the joke for today works BETTER if the character is Nancy.
… to me, the joke where Nancy tells others to not worry about embarrassment, but that she secretly does herself… is funny.
… if the joke is supposed to be having the character be Lucy…. then I am not sure I am understanding the humor. The only difference I see, is that “Bet” and “Don’t” are in quotes…. but that is not really helping me understand.
