More clever than you look Pippin-on the other hand what kind of people would return you for breaking a lamp when you are just settling to a new situation? Adoption councilers need better screening techniques .
I have one, maybe 2 lamps in the house. The cats broke all the other ones and I decided they were unnecessary. The cats can see in the dark!
If they returned you just for breaking a lamp (how petty), they probably aren’t people worth living with, anyway.
