I had an orange tree up until mid-February when the Big Freeze hit Texas. Killed it dead. Best oranges I’d ever had, too. It was a Satsuma. I imagine those who grow orange trees for a living, like cousin Martin, get very irked when they suffer large losses from freezing weather.
