It is rather difficult to draw a character talking with a mask on. Does one leave the mask off so the reader can clearly see who is doing the talking or does one put masks on everyone and hope that the reader isn’t confused or misled? Let’s hope that increased vaccinations and continued mask-wearing and distancing in pubic will soon make such decisions and comments moot.

Did Andy’s niece there did fully vaccinated? She’s not wearing the mask. Unless she’s thinking the pandemic is a hoax, that’s another story.

Her nose would make an excellent pea shooter. Where’s her mask?

With the mask on you can make faces at people and they don’t know it :-)

I don’t care about my four chins. I want to show off my new perfect pearly-white grin but the mask thing makes it tough.

It also covers a Plugger sticking their tongue out at people. Especially following S-A remarks.
