It took a moment, but the comic is funny even if the subject is serious.

The “mixed message” is Fox “News” claiming that he opened the border to everyone.

When will this stupid country face up to the FACT that any “crisis at our southern border” is entirely of our own making, due to the asinine, expensive, counter-productive, dehumanizing, corrupt War on Drug-Using Americans. That’s what drives billions and billions of dollars per year into the greedy hands of the Latin American drug lords, criminal cartels, and corrupt government, whose fights over all that American loot are what’s making life miserable for the average citizens of those countries?

Wanna address the immigration “problem”? Legalize drugs! Turn their abuse into a medical issue, not a criminal one. Convert dealers from back-alley crooks to successful entrepreneurs, just as welcome in the Jaycees as the brewers and tavern owners were after the repeal of our original mistake with Prohibition!

I am not so sure that all this stopping people at the border is worth it. They come and do the low wage jobs, buy pickups, start their own business, buy American products take them back top their families, when things slow down here, they go back anyway. I watched small towns in the San Joaquin Valley prosper from those people, and watched them dry up in the past four years. Same thing in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, you don’t see those unemployed from Ohio living in campers, on the job harvesting at daybreak, then moving on to more work a thousand miles away.
