Cue up the deficit hawks, there’s a Democrat in the White House.

Not a peep when trump blew up the deficit during a robust economy.

Yikes, What about those of us who like inflation?

Varvel got something right for a change! Inflation has been going up since the Republican tax cuts and is surging with all the new money being created for stimulus. Our Government has been fudging the figures for years to avoid COLA for Social Security recipients.

If this means I get more than a 1.2% return on my savings.. I am all in.

Mr. Varvel is reminding us of all those really memorable speeches that George Washington made about the horrors of inflation.

Democrats got us paying a $1 more for gas already. The future is now.

East of Idaho Bill forgets that the inflation during the Carter years started under Nixon, accelerated under Ford, and was slowly tamed by Carter’s appointment Paul Volcker to the Fed. He forgets the WIN (whip inflation now) buttons handed out by the Ford administration.

The nation’s Wealthiest citizens and companies took many bites of the apple by this time, exposing the worm burrowing in the core. Or is it only half a worm? Yuck.

Oh. Varvel thinks he is an economist now AND he thinks he knows more than the real economists.

I guess if we had just let things implode like the Former Guy was doing, Inflation wouldn’t be much of a problem.

Poor starving people on the streets that can’t afford food or shelter because they have no work is not as bad as giving them a stimulus check so they can buy food and pay rent in Varvel’s mind.

Next lessons are how tax cuts for the rich pay for themselves, and how trickle down eliminates poverty (as if Trump Disciples give a sh!t about poverty).

As a person on a fixed income, I DO worry about inflation. As a citizen of the USA, I worry more about infrastructure, health care, access to education…
