It used to be more of a matter of geography. You would find “liberal” (or at least pro-choice—or at least politicians who SAID they were pro-choice) Republicans in the northeast. You would find pro-life Democrats down south. Nowdays, it’s nearly impossible to find pro-choice Republicans (although, as it is well known, Trump wanted Marla Maples to abort Tiffany) or pro-life Democrats.

It would be interesting to find out more about Manchin’s positions on some of the issues.
For example, he says he is against raising minimum wage to $15, but I haven’t heard why. I looked at his web page, but it wasn’t mentioned that I saw.
I hope it’s not that it will cost some of his donors.
