Trump deliberately separated children from their parents.

I see that Gorrell is being intellectually dishonest. While the camps may be used because of the large influx of people, children are not being separated from parents, nor kept in cages.

The plan was to make those kids suffer so much that their parents would take them out and return back across the border. It was nothing more than calculated cruelty on the part of the Trump administration. Anything that Biden is now doing. while not perfect, is a hell of a lot more humane.

Gorrell would also like to change the narrative about the half a million people killed by Dolt 45’s negligence and incompetence to be all Biden’s fault, too.

I wonder what Gorrell would have the Biden administration do with the children kidnapped by the previous administration. Tracking down the whereabouts of the families is not going to be quick or easy.

Gorrell is uninformed, just like Meghan McCain who asked Schumer about immigration on The View. Trump separated children, including infants, from their parents and lost track of many. Biden is dealing with children that are showing up unaccompanied, just like Obama did. Biden’s administration has already been able to reunite many families. Trump, Gorrell and M. McCain just care about politics and themselves.

effort for Gorrell is a sign with some words on it.

At least it’s not this one:

There is a difference between intentionally separating kids from their parents and keeping them in makeshift internment camps to scare people away from seeking asylum in the US, and keeping children in H.H.S. facilities temporarily while they can find and vet their families in the United States.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/26/us/migrant-children-border-detained.html

During a news briefing this week, Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, conceded that the administration faced a “tough choice.”

“Their options are to send children back to danger in their home countries or to families in the United States who have not been properly vetted, she said.

“Our best option, in our view, is to get these kids processed through H.H.S. facilities where there are Covid protocols in place, where they are safe, where they can have access to education and medical care,” Ms. Psaki said.

In an attempt to expedite releases and free up beds, the government advised shelter operators in a memo this week that it would pay airfare for young migrants to join sponsors in cases where families could not pay for tickets themselves. The government said it would also pay airfare for an escort when necessary."

If the conditions in these facilities turn out to be just as bad, most of the left will rightly criticize the Biden administration until it’s changed.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democrat from New York who was a longtime critic of the Trump administration’s immigration policies, said on Twitter that “this is not okay, never has been okay, never will be okay — no matter the administration or party.”

As inhumane as Australia keeping refugees in detention for years on foreign islands. One family from Sri Lanka has now been in detention for 1,000 days. What a species we are! https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2021/jan/07/keeping-biloela-family-locked-up-on-christmas-island-cost-australia-14m-last-year

Trump and Miller stole them from parents and did not keep any records because they were trafficking them. The only reason the remaining ones are still there is because there are no records to get them back to their families.

The world is already overpopulated. America is already overpopulated. Regardless of the arrogance of Trump and his wall and regardless of the untenable position any American president is put into, everybody can’t just walk up to and move into America! We’re full! Time for humane worldwide population control.

In most cases the parents were not there. The children were ushered here by the paid“Coyote’s.”

Fixing the damage inflicted by Trump is going to take some work and time. It won’t happen with the snap of a finger.
