“To abolish mask-wearing laws in some states while the rest of the nation keeps theirs is like designating a peeing section of the swimming pool.”— Neil deGrasse Tyson

A Mexican restaurant in Tex-ass attempted to require a mask and some customers threatened them with turning them into the boarder Patrol.

Interestingly, fewer cases of the plain ol’ flu have decreased dramatically.

Could it have anything to do with mask-wearing, hand-washing, and social distancing?

Is it an indication that those procedures lessen COVID-19 transmission?

You are free to make your own decisions – but I prefer to play it safer.

It’s lonely in the Isolation Ward – lonelier still in the crypt.

The trick is to actually follow the science (which is, I agree, a moving target as scientists gather and evaluate more data). The CDC is now saying that fully vaccinated people can start to meet under careful circumstances for instance. Alas, the actual behavior is far from that ideal, and in fact seems to me to be simply licensed Russian Roulette. The most astounding thing, to me, is the number of people who seem to think that’s perfectly okay.

It reminds me of SNL’s “All-Drug Olympics” video when Phil Hartman made his classic appearance as a weight lifter at the 00:55 mark of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAdG-iTilWU
