Okay, it’s a lie. I always ask that.

Nelson, at the time if was just Earl. You came much later. Opal does take care of us very well even though sometimes it is hard to do.

Yeah, it kinda was.

If Brian Crane resides in Nevada and let’s assume Earl and Opal live in Nevada, did E&O get married in the Saint George Utah Temple using the Honeymoon Trail? There was no Latter-day Saint temple in Nevada until 1989 in Las Vegas.

Sure hope Earl and Opal were and are smarter than to be members of a high demand, cult like organization. Read the cesletter.org

Great job on the young Opal and Earl!

I remember being in my 20s and going to a 50th Wedding Anniversary and looking at a wedding pic that seemingly looked nothing like the old couple. I remember thinking, being a newlywed at that time, “Is that gonna happen to me?”

YUP! :-(

‘Take care of us’?!? Wha?!?

One of my young cousins was looking at a photo of her parents’ wedding and said, “I bet you left me at Grandma’s that time too!” She was always complaining they never took her anywhere.

Diat60 cracked me up!

If Earl and Opal have been married 50 years, then that wedding picture should show the 1970s … long hair, hippy clothes, etc. That picture looks like it was taken in the 1940s – especially Opal’s hair!
