    I did something similar. Teacher said to use our weekly spelling words in sentences. I asked if we could use more than one word in a sentence. She said yes. I wrote:

    The teacher said, “Your spelling words this week are…. The bonus words are….”

    She was less than amused…

    Could’ve been me. “Your punishment is spelling amoeba backwards.” Now that is a sentence.

    I tried something like that with our grade school assignment to use our weekly 20 spelling words each in a sentence. My sentence: “Our twenty spelling words for this week are….” Teacher was not amused—just like Fauna’s….
