I saw an ad for a cruise the other night and thought, “Who would risk going on a cruise right now?” I guess it would have to be people who think they’re somehow immune from getting COVID. Either that, or they are in denial about the whole thing.

A controversial coronavirus adviser to Trump, Dr. Scott Atlas, resigned [in November], a White House official told NPR.
Atlas, who is not an infectious disease expert and whose stay was marred by blunders and controversy, was tapped to serve as special adviser to the president in August. Known as “the MRI guy” he was repeatedly at odds with the nation’s leading health officials regarding his views on how to combat the spread of the virus, including members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.
Might take the camper to a national park somewhere, but in the meantime, pretty happy to work on stuff I’ve been neglecting around the house for this springs vacation.
Why the f*ck are countries still allowing travel over borders? How many people have to die before it sinks into their tiny brains? I say that knowing full well that many football fans are going to participate in super spreader events this weekend…
