Republicans only see an attempt at unity as weakness. Let the good guys left in the Republican party slowly earn the right to be taken seriously again, first by refusing to speak to Cruz and Hawley and then conducting themselves as reasonable well meaning representatives of the people on the congressional floor.
He’d be smarter — and doing the nation a greater service — to persuade Nancy to greatly expand the scope of her congressional impeachements … and step on it before all the little insurrectionist traitors’ terms expire.
