When in Missouri, be sure and visit the “town” (actually a rest stop slash tourist trap) of Uranus. Sadly, the burlesque theater has closed, but I believe the local axe-throwing venue — The Axe Hole — is still in business. And of course the big attraction is the fudge factory. Actual slogan: “The best fudge comes from Uranus.” Popular with 12yo boys of all ages and genders.
