i was in a post office and heard the supervisor tell the desk clerk that if anyone came up to the counter while on their ’phone, that they were to take the next person in line. The super said it loud enough for all in the line to hear.
i’ve seen similar messages on signs at Subway…
I hate when someone does that. I feel rude if I don’t answer but I feel dumb when I do and they are yapping on Bluetooth or something.
I think of it as talking to their alien masters.
Bluetooth must be quite a boon for the crazies. It’s no longer odd to see somebody animatedly carrying on a conversation with no one.
