I understand the Toronto Blue Jays may think about doing the same thing. only 2 problems -the vaccine won’t be available in to the general Public in Ontario until September and and even then only if they water it by 20%so they can get 6 doses out of every 5. But since the Jays play watered down baseball i guess the last part really isn’t a problem
I remember Charlie O Finley’s promotions when he owned the Oakland A’s. He would hold ½ price Monday night double headers during the summer and on top of that if you were a student age 13 – 21 and had straight A’s on your last report card you could get in free for the summer. I spent a lot of time at the ballpark for those years. Finley brought us prime time night games for the World Series and the Designated Hitter. He also had ideas for a designated runner, different colored bases and baseballs that same optic yellow color as tennis balls for night games. Some of his ideas were great, others not so much.

It’s half-baked. At least in Massachusetts they are using Gillette Stadium and Fenway Park as mass vaccination sites. Open air + high capacity.

Actually flip it and it would work. Get the vaccine and get a ticket voucher for when they open the stadium again.

If I had to buy a season ticket to get a vaccination, I would buy ten season tickets and give nine to friends and family.

Maybe we could call the game the Chinese Hoax Bowl.

Tickets are easier to get than vaccines.
