This is nuts and why would anyone want trump to stay in for an additional 4 years? Is this what a person really would want for this country? https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/pro-trump-lawyer-lin-wood-insists-he-is-not-insane-after-tweeting-that-mike-pence-should-face-execution-by-firing-squad/ar-BB1cpNJm?fbclid=IwAR0R8q_ittkBN2I8GcE9t_XHKEDFB2ya6ClB1RLHA7QTwZzEnjOVnZUspY4&ocid=uxbndlbing
Even if the trump is successfully evicted and Biden moves in, we are still facing the gravest dangers since the Civil War. The repubs, cheered on by the Wealthy Elite, will pursue their desire to undermine the Constitution (which they want to re-write), attack Social Security, universal healthcare and keep the gains they made under McConnel and trump. Our Constitution is just fine, but the two-party system has mutated into two opposing camps vieing for power. That must change, and we, the people, are the only ones who can do it, by education, reading, discussion, thinking and VOTING!
60 years ago the Republicans — not yet infested with supremacists and cultish zealots — could NOT as easily be duped by those trying to divide America and overturn our constitutional quasi-democratic republic as they are now. This desperation is driven by the changing population demographics and the futile hope of a demented “leader” trying to turn back time to advantage their current obtuse policies of disenfranchising minorities.
A congressional objection to the certification of the electoral college vote will be a waste of everyone’s time. Barbara Boxer was the lone Senator who objected to the 2004 tally due to unfounded ‘voting irregularities’ in Ohio. It was merely a grandstanding ploy to satisfy her own ego and the usual malcontents in her fringe constituency. Senator Hawley will repeat these futile actions on January 6th based upon a total lack of evidence of any voter fraud or election tampering. Neither episode will be forgotten by their Senate colleagues as it only demonstrates how difficult these individuals are to work with.
I can wish and hope that those metaphors have real world reactions from the voters: If that engine blows up, surely it will damage the perps, possibly lethally. That would be nice. Too bad there are so many people who think that democracy is irrelevant or worse.
Sen. Cruz, Sen. Johnson, Sen. Lankford, Sen. Daines, Sen. Kennedy, Sen. Blackburn, Sen. Braun, Senators-Elect: Lummis, Marshall, Hagerty, TubervilleThese are the senators who are pledging to object on the 6th along with Gohmert and Hawley’s shenanigans.
Let’s put it bluntly but accurately. Gohmert and his followers in the House and Cruz with his little group of buddy boys in the Senate are treading close to outright sedition. The Meriam-Webster definition for sedition:
Legal Definition of sedition: the crime of creating a revolt, disturbance, or violence against lawful civil authority with the intent to cause its overthrow or destruction.
The train is on the wrong track with out a head of steam yet. That will make the TNT soggy and fall apart. . . . . . brilliant idea guys. Worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize nomination.
The Republicans have never been the party of conservative values. That’s just the hype they use to keep their base in line. For at least the past two generations, Republicans have depended on the Religious Right types, who make up a huge part of their base, to support them, and they have been very dependable, despite the fact that very few of them have enough money that they were not working against their own best interests. For them, it didn’t have anything to do with economics or social welfare, because they were brainwashed into believing that the Republicans believed in the Family Values agenda- anti-gay, anti-abortion, etc. Somehow they managed not to notice that once Republicans were elected, they completely ignored that agenda, or made it a trade-off for securing the goals of the 1%ers who were controlling the Republican party. In fact, they rarely mentioned those issues unless they were using them as a bargaining chip—- until the next time they needed volunteers and donations, when it again became their mantra. After at least 40 years, the Religious Right finally figured out that the Establishment Republicans were playing them for fools, so they voted against Establishment Republicans, and for an “outsider”, who probably reminded them of their favorite televangelist. They are continuing to prove they are fools by supporting that outsider, who has the Family Values credentials of an extremely active tomcat. It is amazing to see how many of these people who are, in their own minds at least, a moral shining light actually are able to overlook the fact that they are avidly supporting a person who has no morals at all.
The thing is this, the print and tv news media will fully support Banker Biden’s agenda, so will social media, so will the big tech companies, and big banks. It is the currentgang of progressives who want to undermine our Constitution. They want to increasethe number of Supreme Court Justices. They will push for Obama care, calling it BidenCare. They will cut military spending and cozy up to China. They will turn this Countryinto a copy of the Woodrow Wilson presidency!

Keep Gohmert and Hawley in the spotlight. That’s the best defense against their machinations.
