The so-called Covid Relief Bill is nearly 6,000 pages of tripe and mulch. Those guys can’t even read the comics in one sitting. Who are they trying to fool?!?

Considering how much of the money in the current Relief bill is designated for foreign programs that never had a hope of success, I think maybe they’re dreaming in BitCoin or some other sure thing idea.

Well, Republicans have proved since the Reagan days that tax cuts for billionaires don’t help the country. “Taxes are the price we pay for a civilized society.” Oliver Wendell Holmes. And a civil society is not what Republicans want as so amply demonstrated on 6 Jan.

Why do the Teitelbaums insist on spewing lies — and dumb ones at that? There will be no tax hikes on people making less than $400,000. Anyone above that can well afford to contribute a bit because for as much as they whine about being the primary funders of the country, they get far more than they pay, and they control the direction of the government, steering all the power and riches to themselves. They owe this country far more than this country owes them. While everyone else’s buying power has shrunk since the Reagan administration, theirs has steadily grown because they have manipulated the laws in their favor. They contribute next to nothing, and they need the average person far more than they let on. They just want to keep everyone on the ropes so we’re too busy just surviving to fight.

versus Herr Drumpfs solution… If sedition doesn’t work the first time, try it again. I enjoyed their cartoons till I found out they’re Red Hats. Unsubscribing.

The Teitelbaums must make a lot of money to be worried about tax hikes for those making over $400,00 under Biden’s plan. Just saying.

There is a simple explanation for the Teitelbaums phobia. They have never bothered to read the Constitution. The word I is not in the Constitution and they could care less about We, which is quite prominently used, for they are like tRump, they are Me-Ericans, not Americans.

Whoa – you Trump haters sure love to spit out vitriol everyday but if a mere one out of 70 political cartoons (almost all left leaning) posts a comment against your boy, you can’t take it! A bit hypocritical, don’t you think? (Bring on the rancor!)

Tax cuts for the rich only make the rich richer. If you want to benefit everyone, tax the rich and use the money for investing in worthwhile things like schools, roads, bridges, education for individuals, child care for working mothers, health care for everyone, preschool, and similar kinds of things that benefit workers and families. A few years ago, California was billions of dollars in debt, and communities were suffering. The governor and legislature decided to raise taxes and constrain certain spending until the state got back on its fiscal feet. Despite all the predictions of doom, California boomed, lifting everyone. Kansas decided to cut taxes and wound up laying off teachers and other essential services, just the opposite of what was predicted. Cutting taxes hurt everyone.

Yes, tax hikes on those making more than $250,000 a year. Those who, evidently, know how to make money. They can go out and replace their paid taxes by just earning a little more.

But it is funny to watch all these years. Whenever a Democrat wins the presidency the Republican/conservatives rush back to their fictitious label of being ‘fiscally conservative’. When they are in power they cut taxes for the wealthy and spend more. Reagan tripled our National debt, and Bush2 tripled it again, while both Clinton and Obama reduced our debt. tRump has killed it. So now, like Reagan who crashed the economy and then later left Bush1 a mess and subsequent crash that cost him reelection, and Bush2’s two recessions, the 2nd being the worst since 1929, and tRump’s failure to lead crashing our economy again, someone, somewhere will believe some conservative liar that tells them that the Republicans are fiscally conservative. Some day Americans will realize that conservatives are enemies of the U.S. and have been since 1774.

Billionaires made 931 billion dollars during the pandemic. I’m sure they’ll be able to manage an uptick in their tax rate.

My taxes went down with President Trump. I am retired and not “rich”. If Biden raises the capital gains tax – then my taxes go up and my spending goes down. That is not taxing the rich.
