While it is true that 2020 has been one of the deadliest years at least for this country, and ANY cartoonist would and should recognize that so we can properly grieve the lives so needlessly lost, I nevertheless feel a certain irritation when it comes from a rightwing cartoonist. It feels like going to the funeral of the victim of a mass shooting and having an NRA rep attend and tearfully say, “What a tragedy. You have my thoughts and prayers.”

With NO tRump in the White House 2021 has to look better.

And yet it wouldn’t have been nearly so bad, if not for Bok’s people.

My advice to baby 2021 would be to at least stay under a rock till say.. Jan 20 and then assess the situation. If trump is gone and the COVID vaccine appears to be working you can come out.. carefully.
