I wonder if the Dump enablers would include the 70,000,000 or so that voted for him. If we go about punishing all his enablers we will have a civil war on our hands. Changing the mindset is the right way to proceed. Instead of identifying the Trump enablers, we should identify the common needs and fix the problems we all face.
Denazification didn’t involve imprisoning/punishing every German who had been a member of the Nazi Party, it involved replacing active abettors of the Nazi war effort from positions of influence and authority
Trump-enablers should be voted out of office, and kept off the airwaves and out of corporate boardrooms, but you can still sell them bagels and coffee.
I have a hierarchy of views. The voter is culpable, but individually, less so. I respect their right to vote, but don’t care for their unethical position. Support for such blatant, in your face dishonesty alone shouldn’t be condoned.
The right wing militias are real and should be confronted by the authorities. (And just remember Antifa doesn’t really exist. It’s more of a right wing bogeyman than a reality)
The local and state level politicians, true enablers. And if they broke the law, should be indicted, tried and processed through the courts. And yes, I wouldn’t want to interact with any of them much less vote, for them.
The federal representatives. Deplorable behavior. Ted Cruz, Lindsay Graham are the poster boys for lickspittle status. The true believers in Congress are dangerous. Some of them mentally ill.
Those who are/were close to the psychopath, generally fall into two groups—those he has screwed and those who will get screwed. Everyone he comes into contact with is worse for the experience.
And, yes, I hope people generally shun the enablers.
But, we have a Mafia at the top to deal with, and if they commited crimes, should be indicted and processed. So, too the graft and corruption should be pursued. There’s Trump’s tax fraud, bank fraud, and insurance fraud. We know who is Individual-1 co-conspirator in the Michael Cohen case. And now that DB is cooperating, we’ll learn about the Russian money laundering. We know Kushner’s deal with Qatar was a quid pro quo for refinancing 666 Fifth Ave. Maybe he’ll go to prison like his dad.
As to trying and, if found guilty, imprisoning the psychopath himself, I’m not sure it would be good for the country. On one hand you cannot permit his transgressions to go unpunished. On the other hand he’s a cult figure and his minions would be mighty upset, even if he’s guilty as hell. Hard to believe he would play the martyr, isn’t it? Maybe indict and try, but not imprison. I don’t know.
Mike appears to be channeling Payne here. Lacking anything credible or positive, he resorts to Reductio ad absurdum. Of course, Payne just channels stupid. Mike is slightly more cunning than that.
We need to find out how the idiots that voted for “demetri Joe” tie their shoes. What a bunch of idiots. Of course, mo0st of them were dead, or illegal, or just don’t exist anyway. It’s a shame America is so damn stupid to let biden even think he is going to be president.
“History”, generally, is written 10 years after an event, era, etc. It’s very difficult to project what writers in the future will say about anything. That said, if you consider how other presidents are regarded, their “history” is almost always about events. The “bad news” often gets a deeper focus than the “good news”(Hoover/Great Depression, Carter/Iran hostages, etc.). With that as a starting point, I do not think history will judge Trump kindly. The pandemic and the disjointed response from the federal government is likely to be a starting point. And, this new hack whether from Russia, or some other source, might have the longest and largest impact of anything that occurred on his watch.
My aunt passed away from COVID-19 last week. If she had joined us in emigrating to Canada when we invited her in 2018 she would be alive today. Thanks tiny and all your fellators.
I dunno Mr. Lester, with Trumpism being a cult, refusing service to a cult member may fall under a First Amendment religious objection claim like the Masterpiece Cakeshop case…
Lester is trying to make a false equivalency between Trump enablers and those who were accused by McCarthy of being Communists. He fails, of course, because the former is a definite and provable allegiance — and deserves punishment — while the latter is not.
Where did the cook work last before being hired at this greasy spoon ? Was it using ovens to cook for a body of people ? Did they have bagels there? Were their customers from all over Europe? Asking for an old woman who once ate bagels and had a tattoo.
History WILL not be kind to them. And many HAVE NOT yet learned their lesson. As for “LOCK HER UP! LOCK HER UP” … oh, I mean, “Imprison them” I’m quite sure that those who can understand reason would prefer that only the actual criminals be locked up. We’ll see how it all turns out.

Is Mr Lester worried about his future ability to enjoy a lox and cream cheese at his local coffee shop? Oh Dear, Oh Dear.

Lester HATES the idea of any of his fellow Trump Disciples being held accountable for their actions.

No one will ever accuse Mike Lester of being a Trump Enabler.
No. He always was, he still is a full on, orange-souled, kool-ade drinkin, democracy denier.
We don’t need Aldo the Apache’s solution to how to tell a Trumpkin. Men like Lester make it easy. He proudly puts the T on his own forehead.
