The ACA’s individual mandate was/is a big bone of contention. Yet the commonwealth of Pennsylvania where I live says I can’t drive a vehicle I own on a road in the Commonwealth without having liability insurance. Paying a lot of money each year for insurance is a burden but I think it doesn’t take much thought to see the benefit of forcing people to be fiscally responsible for the possibilities that can be encountered in everyday driving. How is that different from requiring everyone to accept part of the burden of health insurance? I worked for employers that offered health insurance as a benefit for 45 years and everyone of them required employees pay half of the premium as a payroll deduction. So, the government mandates that you buy health insurance and pay part of the premium. How is that different from my 45 year experience?
The ones I always hated was the ones who thought dumping their cigarette ashes into the Salt & Pepper shakers in restaurants was somehow “Clever” or “Funny”.
Unfortunately many fools use this concept to justify infringing on the Freedoms and Rights of others in the exercise of their misconceptions of their own.
However, the original intent of “Don’t Tread On Me” is don’t mess with me and I won’t mess with you. If you do, I’ll fight back with everthing at my disposal.

With the anti-maskers, they get to have their cake and eat it, too. Liberty AND death.

What a wonderfully privileged life you have lived if being asked to wear a mask is the worst oppression you’ve ever experienced.

They don’t connect that one day all of that dumping will affect their drinking water.

The mask issue is more of a “give me liberty, give you death” because I don’t care about you.
