Police: (noun) The official organization that is responsible for protecting people and property, making people obey the law, finding out about and solving crime, and catching people who have committed a crime. Not an organization that is armed to the teeth and declares war on minorities, with a licence to kill. Defunding the police does not mean removing police from the scene entirely. It means removing the military grade hardware from the force. And while we are at it, how about we remove the word ‘force’ from their title and replace it with what the cops ought to be…‘service’.
