I’m getting really tired of watching the news stand by those physically assaulting people of a disenting view point and blaming those who are being attacked

Once upon a time in this country, a free press was considered a watchdog for democracy. Now it is nothing more than an extension of whatever the political view happens to be of the people who run that particular outlet, with CNN, MSNBC, FOX ,ABC, CBS,and NBC being the worst offenders. What is a person to do. I have stopped watching. In my view there is little difference in being uninformed and misinformed. The rich have the Republican party looking out for their interests and the poor and government employees have the Democrats. At my age, I won’t be around when the end comes but my grandchildren will and something needs to change.

On Oct. 8, some 13 members of right-wing, Trump-supporting militias were arrested for plotting to kidnap and kill Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to help incite a civil war.

On Oct. 28, a member of the far-right, Trump-supporting Proud Boys was arrested in North Dakota for threatening to bomb a polling site.

During protests of another police shooting in which James Blake was shot seven times in the back in Kenosha, Wis., in late August, 17-year-old Trump supporter Kyle Rittenhouse reportedly killed two BLM protesters.

In June, two members of the far-right “boogaloo boys,” whose members wear Hawaiian shirts while reportedly plotting a civil war, were arrested on rioting charges during a protest in Columbia, S.C. One was a paramedic who was subsequently fired.

In late May, Matthew Lee Rupert of Galesburg, Ill, reportedly filmed himself setting a Minneapolis building on fire and taking some items from a store. He made social media posts in support of Trump and against police.

Also in late May, three suspected boogaloo members who plotted to cause violence at protests in Las Vegas were arrested. Trump AG Bill Barr declined to address in a news conference June 4.

A Twitter account claiming to be from Antifa that advocated violence was actually run by the white nationalist group Identity Evropa, according to an NBC report.

But you keep on spreading your propaganda Ramirez and ignore the facts.

Here’s the thing, Mikey. Throughout history, the most reliable path to violence is repression. The last time any of those MAGA yahoos suffered any repression was when one’s wife told him he couldn’t have a new bass boat.

Is Mike working for the Russians? He seems to be doing a great job. All this toon is pure crap! The BLM protesters are the peaceful ones while the MAGA folks are more like stormtroopers egged on by Herr Dumpmeister.

The Marching Maggots went into enemy territory. 87% of Wash DC voted against the covid spreading anti masker Trump admin.

The cartoonist fails to mention how the maggots went into DC and tore down BLM signs from store fronts and started a brawl which they quickly lost.

Violent right wingers are just evil liars, lying racist Trump is their god.

Antifa failed to meet violence with violence when Hitler came to power and then became part of the resistance swearing to never make that mistake again. While they are not an organization per se, those who believe in their oath will take the fight to those who willfully bring violence as the white supremacists’ have been more than willing to do to defend their perceived privileged status . Of note as well is the fact that US agencies see the white supremacists’ as domestic terrorists and not ANTIFA. You’re on the wrong side of history Mikey.

The Maga’s were fighting with themselves. The group that wanted Trump to step down was fighting with the group that wanted Trump to declare himself dictator.

With Ramirez having confirmation bias this extreme, I can’t even imagine how he sees the world after his brain edits information to be consistent with his ideology.

Oh, brother. Could Senator McCarthy have drawn any better of a cartoon that this? I for one, think not. Falsely associating BLM with the Soviet Union AND Antifa? Pretty far stretch since Antifa doesn’t even exist.

SOMEHOW, Ramirez has never learned of the Proud Boys, the Boogaloo Boiz and the multitude of unaffiliated wannabees that work the other side of the protest street. What a narrow view he has – just like his mind.

There is no BLM committing acts of violence against MAGA supporters at their rallies. Lets ignore the calls by an Admin official to “rise up” against their governor. The last time that happened, armed crowds showed up making verbal threats and a plot to kidnap leaders was thankfully foiled.

Pretty aggravating that the major networks won’t cover looting, rioting, burning, defacing public property, or beating the cheese out of Trump supporters. If it’s wrong, it’s wrong no matter which side is doing it. Very one sided. Looks at the Cavanaugh coverage on his accuser. What about Biden’s accuser? How about Trump and the Russian interference – way more coverage than the Hunter Biden Yugoslavia; almost non existent and in fact, scrubbed from major social media platforms. I thought people who supported the left were all about free speech, freedom of the press, and unbiased news reporting? Russia and China figured that early on – control the media and control the country.

93% of the BLM protests were peaceful and the <7% included minor incidents. The media covered any violence a LOT more than they covered the peaceful protests, making it look like complete cities were being burned to the ground.

    https://time.com/5886348/report-peaceful-protests/

The Trumpers headed to BLM Plaza after their march and STARTED the violence. RW propagandist Andy Ngo posted PART of a video but left off the beginning that showed the Trumper pushing and attacking people. I don’t condome the violent reprisal but I’m sick of the lies from the Trumpers.
