The problem with Chinese anything is that they’re a HUGE country, and their leaders are not much constrained (at all?) by empathy or anything but making themselves (and, oh yeah, the nation) more powerful.

Forget Chinese tyranny. Right here at home, Mike Pompeo is condescendingly telling us about his plans for a coup to reinstall the loser that nobody wants anymore.

Overthrowing democracy is a bad thing, Ramirez?

The problem with American democracy is that 40% of the population is completely oblivious to the fact that we are turning into a tyranny with every passing hour.

Perhaps.. a little history would help. That “democracy” was part of a rental lease. The new landlords have every right to cancel all the previous terms. Heck.. the same thing happened right at home when trump became president.. and promptly cancelled all the civilized gains that the previous government made.
