Georgia officials clearly stated that:

a: They are doing the recount because their rules call for it when it’s this close

b: They would do this regardless of who seems to be in the lead

c: They’re starting now because they have a deadline (per Georgia regulations).

Webster’s word of the year should have been ‘pathetic’.

The losing snake eyes roll was a poor choice Ms. Benson; these are the laws that Georgia set down using the rights given to them in the Constitution. I think a textualist/originalist Justice like ACB would agree… Democracy has in fact rolled a seven here…

The fate of the Senate resting on Georgia is peak 2020.

This is going to be a tough one to pull off. Stacey Abrams has a lot of boots on the ground and had them organized and motivated for the main act. Success depends on her getting the troops ginned up again and protecting the voting rolls from republican “cleansings.” Send her money.

So now Ms. Benson is complaining because a state (and, presumably several others) will be conducting recounts to verify election results? She would have been happy only if Former-PINO Trump had been declared the winner the instant the polls closed on November 3, never mind counting who people actually voted for.

Biden is ahead by 14,000 votes, maybe a bit more. Georgia is going to have a hand recount/audit. In the history of presidential elections nothing has been overturned. Even if Loser gets the win in Georgia, and it looks like his chances range from slim to none, it still means nothing as President-Elect Biden has 290. You and the other trumpfluffers can suck it Lisa.

Trump would like that situation for every state that went blue…

The only thing lost is people’s time and the election for Trump. The results won’t change.

Recounts rarely, if ever, change election results. GA ordered the recount because they have run off voting and the margin between Trump and Biden was so close. It’s quite likely that when the recounting is done, Biden will still have won GA, the first time a Democratic presidential candidate won that state since Bill Clinton in 1992, and we will hopefully seat both Democratic Senate candidates in the runoff Senate election. If that happens, the Senate will be split 50-50 with VP Harris as the tie breaker. I bet that would make your head explode, Lisa. But it’s the voters in GA that have the power here.

U.S. President-elect Joe Biden solidified his victory over President Donald Trump on Friday after the state of Georgia went his way, leaving Trump little hope of reversing the outcome through legal challenges and recounts.

Edison Research, which made the call, also projected that North Carolina, the only other battleground state with an outstanding vote count, would go to Trump, finalizing the electoral vote tally at 306 for Biden to 232 for Trump.

Well, given the rule just announced there is no reason to even try.

The GOP will be allowed 1 observer for every 10 tables of ballot counting.

To use an oft repeated Dem mantra…What are they trying to hide?

Ms Benson why are you so afraid to admit in your cartoons that Trump lost? Are you really that ignorant of facts, do you lack the ability to think logically and rationally, or do you close your eyes to what everyone else sees?
