The broadcast goes out to lots of folk.. It’s up to the individual to categorize themselves and take the appropriate action.
I much too young (at 74) to watch some of the stuff on TV nowadays!
Our news stations will warn you if there is a bad word, but give NO warning when they show needles going into arms. I find the latter much more offensive.
Freedom of speech gives us the right to offend others, whereas freedom of thought gives them the choice as to whether or not to be offended.
