Never been a fan of any canned veggie.

All I am saying is give peas a chance.

“My plan B is too many kids’ main meal.” Umm, what? This sentence doesn’t make sense.

Wonder if Spaetzle means his plan B includes eating too many kid sized meals. Also wonder if Frazz is feeding everyone at school that day and who will pay for it.

Or an even worse alternative, the dreaded “Chef’s Surprise.”

My parents gardened. Mom thought green beans had to be cooked until they looked like they came from the can. I would eat raw green beans on the drive home from the garden to avoid her cooked ones.

I just love peas. Spinach too.

When I lived in NY the school’s “pizza” was the worst I’d ever experienced, which was weird, given the number of Italians about. Moved to NC, and it was actually passable. Frozen, yes, but not French bread with pizza quick sauce and a slice of American cheese on top, like the NY pizza was.
