Reminds me of the scene in Midnight Run when Grodin pretends to check “counterfeit” 20s at Red’s Bar.

There’s a new app that tells you if you have been in contact with Covid. My supposition is that it has to do with contact tracing.

I’ve only paid in cash once since the pandemic started, and only because their debit machine wasn’t working that day – I even told them to keep the change!

Parrots are one of the few bird species that can smell well.

This is off-subject, but most people assume Pilsner’s a parrot. I’m pretty sure he’s really an outsize parakeet: A drawn-to-scale budgie would be inconveniently tiny as a speaking character here.

Covered his brew & chips budget..

I suspect he’s confusing covid with coke. Many large Bill’s have residue.

I’m starting to think the parrot is scamming them.
