DNI is “Director of National Intelligence” John Ratcliffe. He’s announced that Iranians and Russians are attempting to meddle in the US election, including sending threatening emails. Democrats are claiming that this is an attempt to get people to see Trump as not being supported by the Russians, while GOPs are claiming that the content of the emails (apparently pro Trump) is a false flag operation of some sort.

A few of us think that this is EXACTLY what Putin wants: Chaos in the US is good for him regardless of how the election goes (or fails to go).

Grant for the sake of argument that Iranian hackers actually targeted presumed Democratic voters with fake threatening emails from the Proud Boys.

Why?

Because the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran actually wants Trump to be reelected. How can that be, you ask? Under the multinational agreement, that Trump dragged us out of, the Iranian economy was slowly getting better, people were demanding political freedom, and electing moderate-to-liberal representatives.
