That’s just it" Lucy is NEVER interested but just wants to push in her 2 cents worth to cause division. She needs be banned from Charlie Brown’s All Stars and from visiting Schroeder, as well as have all the other characters give her the cold shoulder and be totally silent when she is around. She will eventually get the picture and drift off into her selfish ever diminishing world.

As of 2020, know of any musicians who have passed away (whether or not by the virus)?

She’s already been made well aware of the fact that his birthday was 16th of December, and she called it out in the neighbourhood. Did she never get a year with the date? Or did she never consider that 200+ years was an unusual age to reach? Or that Schroeder always refers to him in the past tense?

Make a minor note: Lucy wants to be a major note in life, but has no symphony for those around her. A solitary drum beat in an empty room is her universe.

Doesn’t Lucy know that Beethoven was born in 1770?

In the 48 years that Lucy was a part of Peanuts, she only aged about five years. If that’s how slowly people age in the Peanuts Universe, Lucy can be forgiven for thinking that Beethoven is still alive ;)

Lucy, when you were being ‘assembled’, I think your basic empathy was ‘left out’.

    Beethoven is immortal.

Although admittedly not in the “thank you for the nice birthday card” sense.

Lucy, you could be left out of a one-person conversation.

It seems to be an increasingly the case that the Lucy’s of the world are concerned about the Fear Of Missing Out – but aren’t clear on who has the responsibility to learn things “that everybody knows”.

That’s something a kid would say when they don’t ever want to be wrong. Just something that pops in my head every time.

Lucy, here is a list of notable people who are dead. You’ll see some very famous names there, like Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Michalangelo, Socrates, Abraham. It has names like Kushim (an accountant) and Narmer (pharaoh).

You might not be interested in reading the whole thing, since there are many thousands of names.
