Hoping for lightning to strike isn’t very realistic and does a disservice to our democratic system, made up of hundreds of thousands of people who really care and want the democratic system to work.The idea that there is a “perfect” candidate is like looking for a “perfect” human. They don’t exist. Start with you local candidates whom you have a better chance of knowing who they are and what their values are. There are good candidates out there.Remember what you mother told you: Life is never perfect. You make the best choice you can and learn from the experience.
A ham sandwich would make a better candidate than the orange we have in office. I wasn’t a Biden fan, as I preferred a couple of the other candidates, but I gladly voted for him and hope he wins!
