I had a Bull Mastiff that used that method, the eye stare not the breath, but again his breath was like a spring time morning either.
I remember my sweet Border Collie use to come to my side of the water bed and gently rock it with her chin to wake me up. She was the most gentle, smart and intelligent dog. I’ll never forget that beautiful girl.
