Be happy you are not a CFL fan.

The only thing that counts is TV revenue which is being collected from everyone with cable or satellite even if the aren’t fans or are “boycotting because of politics” or don’t watch games because they lack time or interest. The fans are irrelevant.

Don’t think the fans’s sensitivities have mattered for years, in any sport. Just more noticeable this year.

I was watching the Cubs loose to the Marlins again, and spared the sad ending. ABC went to live COVID updates, and sent me to ESPN. I don’t have cable, so I turned on the AM radio and turned off the TV.

What if those bubbles pop?

I wouldn’t blame the sports for that. COVID has almost taken the athletes out of the game as well.

Since my Red Sox tanked before the season even started and I don’t even want to talk about my Cubbies, I’m left with hoping Tampa Bay kicks a$$ and takes names against the Yankees and goes on to win the so-called 2020 World Series.

And let’s not forget to thank Trump and his (non) response to the virus.

COVID-19 took the fans out of the game. Yeah, SOME fans couldn’t deal with the protests, but I say if they don’t care about WHY the players are protesting, good riddance!

There are professional sports going on? I thought it was just protesting and virtue signalling.
