RBG being Jewish, I don’t think “Heaven” is the same as in Christian theology. Jews refer to “ʿOlam Ha-Ba”, which seems to refer more to a Garden of Eden kind of afterlife, as opposed to the Christian “clouds with wings and halos, singing God’s praises” that is popularly taught.
No matter what comes next, few people have enough faith in their belief to actually want to make the trip any sooner than necessary. I was approached in a parking lot by a man who asked me “Do you believe that Jesus is the son of God?” I answered "I don’t think we have enough verifiable information to make an informed decision on that.” He said “If you don’t, you won’t go to heaven!!!” My answer “I’m doing the best I can here, and will continue to do the same whatever comes next. If that’s not good enough, it’s still the best I can do.” He’s praying for me.

Notice, they changed their judicial robes from black to white – must be a new style.

“According to Jewish tradition, a person who dies on Rosh Hashanah, which began last night, is a tzaddik, a person of great righteousness.”

There is ZERO chance that Fat Bastard Scalia is in Heaven. He was Corporatist, Papist scumbag who worshiped the Almighty Dollar.

Presumes they’d both end up the same place. (And yes, I know that Jews don’t believe in Heaven.)

While I could see it happening, were they, in real life, friends?
