I’ve seen this done in a variety of ways over the last several days. I totally agree with the fireman’s frown while he looks at the accelerant hose.

From what I get in this cartoon, the choice should be obvious. And in a way to me, all this ruckus and hoopla is good because this should give America a huge wake up call. First, on how politics can be ugly and vicious in the hands of the wrong people. Second, on what a true poison racism really is. To me that’s the TRUE and the REAL Coronavirus! And it should also be a wake up call for White people to finally see how Black people have been treated in this country for centuries. But I do believe that this there are so many White protestors in these BLM protests because they’re trying to prove that they are not part of the racism and prejudice that many of their ancestors were.

From the color of the Fireman’s skin, he’ll feel obliged to use the Trump hose, or risk appearing “un-American”.

If hoses carrying water to put out the fires, Hair Groppingfuror’s would be all chopped up, leaking and unable to function. More realistically, a Trump hose would be pumping gasoline or such onto the flames.

Firefighters (and police) will be endangered species once there are no more pesky taxes to pay their salaries. How much do you think a “private sector” fire department will charge to work on a burning mansion? What will be the bill to find the culprits when your loved ones are raped or murdered?

Given how much gas the trump spews.. it’s little wonder that the oil companies are all behind him

While I’m pleased that Clay portrays Biden as the one who will put out the fires of our nation’s problems, I pray that Joe will add to that the economic advantage. He needs to show how his administration will bring jobs and a growing national economy for all through innovations in energy production and environmental improvements. We should be leading the world in these areas, not lagging behind.
