I love how Phoebe is so confused she instantly forgot the pain she was in.

Seriously, Marigold? That’s not even close to what Phoebe had in mind.

Well, that too.

This is why unicorns will never make good physicians. Let’s just hope Phoebe never falls and breaks her arm. “Hold still while I break your other arm!”

She probably saw the finale of Power Rangers SPD where Doggie Cruger sliced the other horn of Emperor Grumm and took that approach to heart:-).

if this is going to be another week-long storyline, is Phoebe going to ask Marigold to cast a pain-free spell where she won’t feel pain at all? or maybe be like Wolverine and have a healing factor?

careful or you’ll end up with a unicorn leg as her idea of “Make it better”

We would holler “daddy I skinned my knee” (or whatever) and he would say “well let me step on your toe and you’ll forget about your knee.” :)

“I thought the problem was that your knees are now asymmetrical.”

Scratch my knees and I’ll make that horn of yours asymmetrical.

That was a kneedless remark, Mari! :D

This makes me think of a totally different comic…

“Did we not establish that our line of symmetry is over here? And do you not realize that your blithe disregard for this is throwing the geometric spacial harmony in here completely out of kilter? Is that what you want? Is that what you’re trying to achieve? HMM? ASYMMETRY?”

…now I’m curious to see if anybody here even knows what I’m going on about… ;)

To Marigold, asymmetry IS a tragic medical condition!

It’s so rare to see Phoebe crying in the strip, it’s kind of weird.

Now Marigold could give her knee a kiss, but her horn might cause Phoebe to yell a bit…

We used to put iodine on it if anything. Too bad Stevie isn’t around to kiss it, and her, and make it better.
