    It’s the Navy Seals.

If it were the SEALs, they’d already have been in, killed the target, taken the intel, and been gone LONG before the brass hit the floor.

The Nightstalkers are right across the flight line from my birds - those guys are scary-good.

Once of those very rare instances where freaky timing works in a cartoonist’s favor.

Mark yesterday on your calendar. First time America cheered the CIA. Vegas is giving 9-2 that it never happens again

Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean that there aren’t people out to get you.

Are international Bounty Hunters allowed to operate in the US?

OK… So I was wrong about the microwave.

But still, Panel 2 is priceless. Those two seem to get along much better in their paranoia.

what a peculiar connection to make. If it makes you feel better you’re still getting it way cheaper than anyone in the UK or the rest of Europe.

^ Grimma, Remember that the price of gasoline across the way includes huge taxes that support a terrific mass transit system. Our Federal ax is but a fraction of what they pay. Remove the tax from the price of each and it is about the same.

The Navy SEAL team did excellent work but they had some real talent nearby in the Gurkhas of Nepal. They served with the British in WW II. I read of a case where two German motorcycle couriers stopped for the night and camped out. The next morning, one of them awoke to find his partners head neatly stacked on a backpack where the Gurkhas had placed it. They snuck in, killed the man, cut off his head and did not wake the other guy up. They are known for the courage and stealthiness. Oh, and their very unusual knives which, if taken from the sheath, must draw blood before being resheathed. Thus they will nick themselves if they show you their knife.

^ Nice story but, knives wouldn’t have worked on this op.

believe me, I know…they recently took a tadge off the tax because its so horribly high, but the underlying oil price is still rising. Whether Bin Laden’s demise has any effect on this one way or t’other remains to be seen. Possibly somewhat irrelevant compared to the effects of the ‘Arab Spring’ - maybe that has some bearing on why it was decided to take him out now, when he’s become rather sidelined in the greater scheme of things?

that support a terrific mass transit system

can’t imagine where you got that idea from though!

..some real talent nearby in the Gurkhas of Nepal.

not sure what relevance the Ghurkas have to this story, but Nepal isn’t exactly ‘nearby’ to Pakistan … maybe you meant the ones still serving with the British army in Afghanistan.

One President’s Al Qaeda leader is another President’s freedom fighter… and we owe it all to the CIA!

It’s the Spanish Inquisition! CONFESS, DUKE, OR WE’LL BRING OUT THE SOFT CUSHIONS!

Nice how this storyline coincided with Osama’s death. And no, I don’t think the SEALs would let a window stand in their way.

I’m more bothered by all the “celebrators” and “chickenhawks” now using the quietest of our warriors to pat themselves on the back. We should have let the “quite ones” do their jobs 8 years ago.

THE ULTIMATE WATERBOARDING (a fable for the christlibs)

With only a small group of witnesses, a military officer read prepared religious remarks, which were translated into Arabic by a native speaker. Bin Laden’s body was placed on a board, tipped up and then “eased into the sea” from the carrier’s lowest deck, an official said.

I’m sure Franklin Graham will officiate, whichever side they lay Bush Jr. on.
