    Those were crazy times. I made $1,000 in short order, playing around. I lost $2,000 when the bubble burst. Granted, if I had heels on to what I had left, I would now be very wealthy. I had my money in Amazon at the time. 0h well…

    I was in the dot com bubble. I owned dot com stock, my mutual funds owned dot com stocks, my 401k owned dot com stock. All way ahead in profit. I vividly remember my boss telling me “harvest, harvest” and I did. Four months later the bubble burst. Every year I send him good wishes and thank him.

    Let’s ALL remember the $300 tax rebate episode of Futurama where Hermes gave his son a penny to invest and he said he was going to use it to buy 5 shares of amazon.com and Hermes called him a risk taker for it.
