The question has always been “Your money or your life?”. The current administration and business elite want your money and your life. They kill off enough people and they can use the labour shortage as an excuse to stop funding any social spending programs because of all the great minimum wage jobs that aren’t being filled, and if you argue or protest the government sends in the troops to kill off the terrorist radicals disrupting the natural order of society. The rich get richer and the poor get to starve and die young from untreated health issues due to medicine not being funded, Everyone wins because only those rich enough to look after themselves will ever get old enough to retire so they won’t need a pension plan any more either.
If the meat packing industry were to put deceased workers into the sausage and say they had quit a day before . . . maybe I’m thinking of a movie I once saw.
Moscow Mitch, the RUSSIAN BITCH, has to go in November. Of maybe we will be REALLY LUCKY, and he will keel over from a Heart Attack before the election.
Not sure if it’s the same in other nations. The lives of consumers/workers are assigned an economic value by a company. They’ll do an economic cost/benefit analysis to determine whether it’s cheaper to pay off in a lawsuit of correct an issue. There is no caring on their part.
Jen… your rendering of McConnell is so eerie and accurate at the same time. The U.S. method of handling this is…. it’s all about the money. The corporate big wigs take every situation…. good, bad, or indifferent and simply figure out the best way to line their pockets…. that is all that shapes their policy, their “philosophy” and their day.
One of the stimulus deniers is the mini-brained Mitch McMafia is one of the ringleaders holding up badly needed help for the middle class and poor people. He has an overwhelming lead over the Democratic rival in the polls so he could care less about doing the right thing for the people. Apparently, Kentucky likes CORRUPTION in their representatives. They might want to revisit the nickname for their state. Blue should be nowhere in it.

Nice art work. I never noticed before how much McConnell resembles Edvard Munch’s 1893 painting “The Scream”.
