Mike Lester figures that his kinda people hate the idea of Black Lives Mattering so much that they’ll skip watching some sport in order to avoid watching 2 minutes of someone kneeling before an hour of game time. Also, of course, that announcement is too silly.

I don’t have the comparative numbers from last year but games typically draw viewership in millions as opposed to thousands. And back in May 6.3 million sports starved viewers tuned in to watch Woods, Mickelson, Manning and Tom Brady hit golf balls in the water at the Tiger Woods Challenge. People want a return to sports and don’t want to sit thru political theatre to do it. -ML

I don’t understand all the hoopla around the National Anthem. It’s a song… No more no less. People want to read all their biases, prejudices, and ideological beliefs into it. I don’t care if you sit, kneel, or stand (even on your head). As a veteran, I’m not offended, insulted, or otherwise dismayed. Enjoy your freedom while yo have it. The current administration would rather you stand for a song than wear a mask to protect all of us.
The Woods/Mickelson/Manning & Brady golf was really fun to watch. You almost felt like you were there with them…good stuff. Especially Brady absolutely sucking in the beginning and then reaching inside and pulling off some amazing golf.
