Holly is a true 13 year old, she really thinks her mother will let her go. I had mixed parties at that age, but only when parents were home, and they could pop in any time sigh

I had a Halloween party when I was 16, to get a certain boy to notice me. It worked. Then my father caught us kissing on the porch leading to the patio… LOL! And when the party was over, I got yelled at because someone brought beer. How did they know? They’d provided capped soda. Someone left pull tabs behind! ARGH! :)

So apparently they’re going to be re-running just the Sunday strips here, and leaving the dailies on Stone Soup Classics.

Is it just me or are they only showing the Sunday strips?

Mom: Sure you can go, Holly. Jason’s parents ask if I would be the real chaperone for the party, so you can ride with me. (The total embarrassment of it!)

Tie her up with spaghetti. You can always say she is learning the proper way to eat it.

Yes – great to see classic strips. As for Holly, let’s hope Mom can get over her mid-life crisis in time to prevent Holly from creating another kind of crisis when she goes to the party.

I do hope they keep running these. GoComics just killed Meg! Classics today and it was jarring, I’ve been reading that for years.
