Many years ago my mother and I were at church. She kept pushing the hymnal I was holding back further and further. I finally dropped it on the floor and asked, “Is that far enough away now?” yeah, I got in trouble with Mum and the pastor. Totally worth it
I’ll never forget the first day I got my glasses. I wanted to run up to everyone and tell them to get a pair, because I figured, without them, there was no way they were seeing as well as I was. On the trip back home in the back see of the car, I marveled at the individual leaves on the trees, and even the gravel and grit along the side of the rode when stopping at an intersection.
