Weird how people blame eggs, but just about every outbreak I’ve heard about have been from produce.

We must have different eggs today.. Eating cookie dough and licking the bowl/spoon was a tradition on baking day back in the day.

My mom was a very smart person. There were three kids; I was the oldest. She put me in charge of the spoon and bowl, and told me I could divide it up any way I chose. Keep it all for myself, or split it up. The first time I kept it all, but it just didn’t taste as good as the next time, when I shared with my brother and sister. Thanks for the lesson Mom.

Homemade frosting licking the batter, YES. Cake or cookie batter, NO. You can’t get the great taste of cake or cookies until they are baked.

It’s always a good idea to read the label which likely says “Do NOT eat raw dough!”.
