    I may be ancestrally part Scottish, but I tend to say “lad/lass” once in a while. As for haggis, never tried it (as I’ve never been Scotland), but would like to try it. As for bagpipes and tartans, it will have to depend on the mood.

    I used to wonder why I never heard songs or saw cartoons about working. Yet to hear songs, but enjoy the ones about working.

    To understand Dilbert it helps to watch the movie “Ford Ferrari.” Ford hired Carrol Shelby to design and build a race car that would beat Ferrari at Le Mans, Through out the movie Shelby is beset by “corporate managers” (Pointy Hair Bosses minus the hair) that know nothing about racing sports car design (there is no MBA in Sports Car Design at the Harvard Business School) telling him what to do and how to do it.
