    We had Craftsman Silent push mower. It wasn’t silent and my father never got the hang of keeping it sharp, so I learned how.

    I’d much rather use the push mower, as long as the blades were sharp. Quieter, and no fumes!

    “Nanny” (great grandmother) used to warn us kids to not play with it because she always get the blades sharp. It was not east pushing it through grass over 4 inches tall,but it did cut well.

    as long as the blades are sharpened it should be ok. a little exercise never hurt anyone and he is young.
