I think I heard somewhere that public figures cannot be libeled, no matter how scurrilous and untrue the statements are. But I’m not a lawyer. Are there any attorneys out there reading this? I’d like to know for sure.

How is that different than the TeaPublicans trying to defund NPR because it tells the truth about GOP slash and burn policies?
