This illustrates the stupidity of the “christian” view of Heaven. Mark Twain pointed this out in “Letters from the Earth.” He pointed out that most people can barely tolerate being in church and singing hymns for a brief time, yet the view of heaven was that they were all going to sing hosannah to god for ever and ever! I was 15 when I read that, and it really resonated with me.
It seems like heaven for a musician like Daniels would be to play any instrument well and not be confined to some fool’s version of a heavenly instrument.
Seems most are oblivious to the fact that Daniels was quite prepared to endanger his soul for gold. Those values will never get him into Heaven. Daniels got his temporary gold but Satan got his soul in the long run anyway.
